Cadence and Clara are growing and changing so quickly. Especially Clara, she is talking so much now, and repeating everything. I like to say words like 'fantastic' or 'ridiculous' or anything else that sounds adorable being repeated by her. She is so much fun. She is also one of the most strong willed children I've been around, only second to her cousin, Melanie.
Every day I let Cadence and Clara pick out whatever shirt they want to wear, and I pick out the pants. This gives them the freedom of making a choice for themselves, while I get to assure that the pants match what they choose. Clara, of course, found a way around this system. She came out of her closet with a butterfly costume that was hanging in the back. I couldn't help but laugh, and let it happen. She's just too cute.
Clara has a way of making me laugh in any situation. She is such a little munchkin, and she is too funny. When Clara knows that she is in trouble, and I come pick her up, she starts laughing and says, "tickles! tickles!" ...weird.. it doesn't tickle any other time I pick you up, Clara. I always have to look away or run into the other room so that she doesn't see how funny I think she is.
I have to make everything a choice for Clara, and make it so that either choice works in my favor. "Clara, do you want to put your pajamas on by yourself, or do you want me to help you?" I'm really not sure how much longer this will work on her... she's getting too smart. She must get that from her aunt.
