Long weekends are good for a few reasons. There are the obvious reasons.. they give you a lot of time to relax.. plenty of time with your friends and family...usually a much needed break from your overly stimulated day-to-day. They also make you appreciate your routine a little bit more. The amount of food and sleeping that happened to me in the last four or five days is disturbing. Eat. Get Sleepy. Nap. Wake up hungry. Repeat. This was not my most productive weekend, and I am looking forward to getting back into a routine. It will probably take me until Wednesday to feel normal again.
Excessive eating and sleeping aside, it was a very fun weekend. A majority of my time was spent with my brother, Seth, and my cousin, Chelsea. We went to the Cavs game on Saturday, which is a tradition the three of us have stuck to for the last few years. We always have a ton of fun. This year was the best in my books. I got chosen from our seats in the nosebleed section to go sit court side for the whole second half! They named me 'Mayor of Loudville' (I have no idea why.. I am such a soft spoken, shy girl.. who definitely wasn't yelling, dancing, and hugging strangers.. definitely wasn't doing that...). I went out on the court after the 3rd quarter, held up the sign they gave me, and yelled as loudly as possible. I was a jumbotron star for a solid ten seconds.
Jess & TJ, on the other hand, worked through the weekend. Good for them. Jess was such a trooper. She worked multiple photo shoots with TJ all day Saturday and Sunday.. AFTER she had ventured out on Black Friday (let me remind you she is pregnant with twins.. and starting to struggle to get out of a chair). They started shopping the sales at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. I was awoken by them coming in at 2:30 a.m., and then again as Jessie was trying to rush TJ back out the door at 6 a.m. to continue the madness. Way to go, Jess. If anyone can handle twins... it's her and TJ.
TJ & I have some fun 'work' ahead of us this week. Thursday, December 4th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. we will be at the "Spa'liday" event in Wooster. The event will be at Chaffee Chiropractic Clinic (242 E. Milltown Rd.). Come see us for a chance to win a free mini session! We will also have our Cardinal Family Photography photo booth set up. It will be a good time. We look forward to seeing you there!
